This blog is about the story how Rita and Gary met each other at the Ning Network of the writer Thomas Moore, and it's also a way to express how grateful we are to Thomas Moore and to the Ning forum.
One can say that, sometimes, the places where almost nothing happens may be the places where everything happens...
So, now, let's go back to 2010... That's when this story started...although, I believe it started far back in time... when the stars where about to become light!
Rita's soul has reached the poet in my heart, and touched my soul. Its easy to see this, from what she writes above. Even though she may not admit it, she is a poet, too!. Please return as we share this "love story". Normally, this sort of thing would be private, but because of "our" soul,s and the kind of forum of our meeting each other, this does seem to lend to "screaming of this love to the moon!". Well, this may be one way to achieve that?
ReplyDeleteWell, I don’t consider myself as a poet… Sometimes, out of nowhere, a poem may appear… but I don’t cultivate poetry as a form of expression, like I cultivate plastic arts. For me, when you are a poet, you really dive into it, you can’t avoid it and the more you write, the more elaborate, profound and moving it becomes, and I definitely don’t do that with poetry.
ReplyDeleteBut, in Portugal, we have a traditional saying that states that everyone has a bit of poetry and a bit of madness It’s like poetry and madness are equally distributed by all of us, just a bit for every person. And, under that perspective, yes, I agree that I’m a poet: like everyone else, sometimes the art of poetry makes a visit!
